Hello my friend!
Today we are talking about our relationship with our future self! Yes, she/he in the future will thank you for it!
Our relationship with our future self is so important, it’s vital in the transforming of our hearts and minds regarding living well in today, and even making peace with our past. The things that haunt us in the past like shame, can be healed as we pray into and dream about our future self. That’s not to minimize any pain or trauma from your past or even that you are walking through today… it’s ultimately to help usher in the healing our souls are longing for.
4 Steps I dig into to help us along the way:
- Take time to practice
- Permission to heal
- Intentional relationships and influences
- Start praying and dreaming
So grateful to be with you on this Spiritual inner healing journey! I’m here for you, cheering YOU on! The world needs YOU!

Hello my friend!
Today’s episode was prompted by a conversation I had last week with my friend and Podcast Coach, Stef Gass. Stef’s amazing!
We had the best conversation about things that keep us from living up to our full potential. We talked about roadblocks like shame and anxiety.
Today, I unpacked my process a bit and I share openly about things that I had to work through, things that haunted me for so long—like sexual abuse and infidelity decades ago before I was married.
I’ve been reflecting all week, and I am sooo grateful how far God has brought me! I used to be riddled with shame and angst about so much.
My life and inner world is so much more peaceful now! :)
The 3 steps I mention are:
- Intentionally acknowledging that we are NOT defined by the things that have been done to us, or things that we have done. — HOWEVER, in the same breath, acknowledge that those things do impact us. *To deny the impact, denies our experience, and can be harmful to our healing.
- You have permission to process and grieve whatever loss or the impact of your experience in your life.
- Don’t buy into the belief (lie) that you’re the ‘only one’ who has experienced this situation, OR that you are too far gone or there’s no hope. Buying into that belief/lie, leads us to isolation and despair, a very dangerous combo.
So grateful to be with you on this Spiritual inner healing journey!

Hello my friend!
Today we are talking with Therapist Hannah Warren. I am so excited about this episode and all Hannah is sharing with us!
Hannah brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and her heart is so awesome. We talk about day-to-day functioning in life and her advice is so helpful!
She unpacks her simple, yet profound way to navigate grief, loss, frustration and just day to day emotions like anger or sadness that come up. This content is gold! Hannah has a tool she came up with in her practice she calls “The Highway”. It not only helps us navigate and evaluate where we are, but it also helps us with the process of how to get where we want to go in whatever situation or emotion we are feeling. Trust me, she explains it better than I just tried to! ;)
It’s amazing and so helpful!
Grab a piece of paper to take notes for this one if you can!

Hello my friend!
Well, I've been putting this one off for a while... But here goes. :) In today’s episode I’m sharing my journey with addiction and some of my recovery story. I’m almost 12 years sober, by the Grace of God. It’s not something I ever want to take for granted.
Addiction touches all our lives one way or another. Whether it's you struggling, your spouse, your child, your parent... I can guarantee you there is someone near you struggling, BUT there is hope!
Addiction is driven by several things—abuse, trauma, our biology and so much more. This episode could have been 3 hours long (or 3 days really!), but I kept it short and hope it blesses you and some aspect of it encourages you. There is hope from the trauma or drama of life being or living with an alcoholic/addict of any sort. And I just want to acknowledge that loving someone active in addiction can be excruciatingly painful in every way--hang in there if that's you. There's hope.
You are not alone!
If you know someone this episode could encourage—please share it with them.

Hi friends!
Today’s a quick encouragement episode. We talk about the process of Spiritual transformation. Transformation is a one day at a time process, but so worth it. Especially when we are going through difficult times.
I used to think all of my suffering meant I was being ‘punished’ or I was doing something wrong. The reality is, we all walk through suffering and hardship at times, that doesn't mean we are being punished. There's hope as we journey through it.
I hope today’s episode encourages you. :)
- Quote of the week:
“The miracle of it all—if we are to speak of miracles—is that God has found the most ingenious way to transform the human soul. God uses the very thing that would normally destroy us—the tragic, the sorrowful, the painful, the unjust deaths that lead us all to the bottom of our lives—to transform us. There it is, in one sentence. Are we prepared to trust that?” -- Father Richard Rohr
- Scripture of the week:
“My steps follow in the tracks of your chariot wheels, always staying in their path, never straying from your way. You will answer me, God; I know you always will. Hear my words like you always do as you listen to my every prayer. Magnify the marvels of your mercy to all who seek you. You are the loving Savior of all who turn aside to hide themselves in you. Protect me from harm; keep an eye on me as you would a child who is reflected in the twinkling of your eye. Yes, hide me within the shelter of your embrace, under your outstretched wings.” -- Psalms 17:5-8 TPT (The PASSION Translation)
- The song(s) of the week:
“Into The Mystery” NEEDTOBREATHE // Youtube // iTunes // Spotify

Hello my friend!
Ok, this one is one of my favorite subjects we have talked about yet! We dive into the important subject of ‘community’. We were created to be in community with others. HOWEVER, when we have community/friendship wounds, it can be so difficult to get back into a community or deep friendships. But there’s HOPE.
In today’s episode I share a story of something so powerful that I witnessed last night, and how beautiful it can be when community and friendship works well.
We also dive into 3 steps to take when we are struggling.
Mentions:
Galatians 6:2 “Carry one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
Psalm 32:3 “when I kept silent my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long."
James 5:16a “therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.”
A Few Good Men, Jack Nicolson said “you can’t handle the truth.” I disagree. Yes, we can Jack. ;)
Also, if you haven’t joined already, I’d love for you to join me inside the Spiritual Intentions Framework-12 Foundational Principles For Spiritual Growth When All Else Fails.
God bless you!
Much love,
Dani

Hello my friend!
Can I be real? Of course I can, thank you! I'm a bit wonky emotionally this week because of some medical tests our daughter is going through this week. In today’s episode I share a bit about a medical thing journey we have been on this last 18 months, and I'd love it if you’d pray for our daughter Makenzie. She’s amazing and I am so grateful for her and how far God has brought her in a year. It feels like we are in the 'waiting period' and would love your prayers. And as you know, waiting is never fun...so, I could use your prayers too, I'm an emotional mama. ;) This is also one of those quick encouragement episodes as well. :) I share one of my favorite quotes of all time!
Also, I just have to mention too--we hit 10,000 downloads for the Podcast over the weekend! That's a huge milestone and I just want to thank you for journeying with me through this! SO excited! :)
Quote of the week:
2 quotes this week!
“This too shall pass! It may pass like a kidney stone, but it will pass!”
“When the worst thing that has ever happened to you happens, you will realize you don’t have any reason to be afraid anymore.” —Robi Damelin. (from the book ‘Indestructible’ by Allison Fallon)
Song of the week:
“Raise A Hallelujah” Bethel Music // YouTube // Spotify // iTunes //
“I’m going to sing in the middle of the storm. Louder and louder you’re going to heart my praises rise. Up from the ashes, hope will arise… I raise a Hallelujah with everything inside of me… Sing a little louder, louder than the unbelief.”
Inspiring Scripture:
Jeremiah 31:3 “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” (a love that will last forever…)
