Hi friends!
Welcome back to another Quick Encouragement Sunday episode! This week’s quote, scripture and song for the week have me pumped!
Quote of the week:
“Never love anyone who treats you ordinary. ”— Oscar Wilde.
I could argue this quote on a few fronts, but the meaning behind it is beautiful and struck a cord in me. My friend, don't settle with believing you are anything less than extraordinary. And you have permission to ask others to treat you that way too. And of course, we get to give the gift of treating others like they are extraordinary beings too. :)
Scripture of the week:
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
I know it can be so difficult to believe it when we are going through an awful season, or have a ton of heartache inside... but hang in there, and my prayer is that you can seem glimmers of hope and grace peaking through the clouds. You're a miracle, a masterpiece and an extraordinary human being! :)
Song of the week:
“Head To The Heart” by United Pursuit (SOOO good!)

Much love,
Dani

Hi friends!
Welcome back to another Quick Encouragement Sunday episode! This week’s quote, scripture and song for the week have been blessing me for days. I hope you all enjoy! You are not alone!
- Quote of the week:
From “Abba’s Child” by Brennan Manning (I highly recommend this book!)
“The lives of those full engaged in the human struggle will be riddled with bullet holes. Whatever happened in the life of Jesus is in some ways going to happen to us…To think that the natural and proper state is to be without wounds is an illusion.”
- Scripture of the week:
Isaiah 51:3 Message version “Likewise I, God will comfort Zion(YOU), comfort all her mounds of ruins. I will transform her dead ground into Eden, her moonscape into the garden of God, A place filled with exuberance and laughter, thankful voices and melodic songs.”
NIV- “The Lord will surely comfort Zion(YOU), and will look with compassion on all her ruins…”

Hi friends!
I am so pumped for today’s Quick Inspiration Sunday episode! If you're new around here, welcome! We just started a Sunday episode with a quote, scripture and song(s) for the week to encourage us. I think we are going to call this Sunday/weekly encouragement "Weekly Wamba Jamba" for fun! Enjoy!
- Quote of the week:
“One does not discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time.” Andre Gide
If you feel lost at sea with what you are walking through, hang in there, there are good shores ahead for you. :)
- Scripture of the week:
2 Kings 3:16
“This is what the Lord says: This dry valley will be filled with pools of water.”
MSG version says:
“dig ditches all over this valley. Here’s what will happen—you won’t hear wind, you won’t see rain, but this valley is going to fill up with water and your army and your animals will drink their fill. This is easy for God to do.”
Yes, and amen!
- The song(s) of the week:
"Believe for it" CeCe Winans // Youtube // iTUNES // Spotify
From the song: “I love you, Lord for your mercy never fails. All my days you have been faithful and all my life you have been so so good…you have led me through the fire. in the darkest nights you are close like no other. I’ve known you as a father, I’ve known you as a friend…with every breath that I am able, I will sing of the goodness of God. Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me. With my life laid down, I surrender now, I give you everything. Your goodness is running after me.”
“Walk Me Home”—P!nk Youtube // iTUNES // Spotify
From the song: “Walk me home in the dead of night, I can’t be alone with all that’s on my mind…so say you’ll stay with me tonight, because there’s so much wrong going on outside.”
Whatever you are walking through, keep walking… keep showing up, keep doing the work and allowing the grace and love of God become more and more real and tangible to your heart. Sometimes inner healing takes time, but keep going, it’s worth it!
You are not alone!
Much love,
Dani

Hi friend!
Today we are talking about what to do when we are triggered by guilt or regret. Even the little things add up at times, and when we don't deal with them, they can feel like BIG things and weigh us down! But have hope, there are solutions and steps we can take to help ease the burden and struggle.
In today's episode I share a story of being triggered by guilt, (it wasn’t a huge soul-crushing guilt, although I’ve carried too in the past! We’ll get to that another day), but little guilts and regrets that can add up too! I share 4 tactical things you can do today to ease the load. It's easier than our minds tell us it is. ;)
You're not alone!
God bless and much love,
Dani

Hi friends!
In today's Quick Inspiration Sunday episode I shared a few options for us to name this new Sunday series! I love your feedback, let me know what you think!
I'm leaning towards "Weekly Wamba Jamba"--but I have a silly sense of humor, so maybe it's lame?! You tell me! Sunday-FUNday?! Or maybe I will just keep it 'Quick Inspiration'. You guys tell me! ;)
If you are new around here, here's a quick update--Every Sunday for a few months I will post a short episode with a scripture, quote, and song of the week for us to binge on! The songs, quotes and verses will be binge and meditation worthy, I promise. ;)
Ok, song of the week this week is SOOO good, I get so inspired every time I listen to it--and I listen to it a lot... drum roll, please...
"Don't give up on me" By Andy Grammer--YouTube. //"Don't give up on me" By Andy Grammer-- iTUNES//"Don't give up on me" SPOTIFY
Inspiring Scripture:
Luke 18: 1 NIV - Parable of the persistent widow
“One day Jesus hold his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.”
James 1: 3-4 NLT
“For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
Quote of the week - “He who knows others is wise, he who knows himself is enlightened” -- Lao-Tzo.
Hang in there! I hope this blesses you!
Much love,
Dani

Hi my friend!
Today’s episode I share about how God moved in my heart when I was watching the movie “Monuments Men” a few nights ago while recovering from Covid. This episode is not about Covid, but holy moly what a crazy season?! Hope you're doing ok!
Sometimes when we’ve been devastated by the sting of life or loss, it can be soul crushing. It literally rattles us to our core. Whether we are hit with a financial, relational, emotional, spiritual or physical/health tragedy—it’s all so hard to navigate at times! But there’s hope. There has to be. And we have to cling to it!
Quotes:
“we all end up living unexpected lives.”—Matthew Kelly.
“It is then that we come face-to-face with two enduring truths: We cannot live without hope that things will change for the better, and we are not victims of our circumstances.” Matthew Kelly
“Don’t leave before the miracle happens.”
Scriptures:
Romans 8:28 NLT “And we know that God causes everything to work together[a] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
Gen 50:20 “ You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.”
Jeremiah 32:27 “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
Mentions:
Edith Edger— “The Gift”
“Monuments Men”—such a good movie!
I hope you enjoy and are encouraged, and of course I hope you laugh a little during the episode! ;)
God bless and much love,
Dani

Hello my friend!
Need some inspiration?! Who doesn't! Every Sunday for the next couple of months around here I will post a quick episode with a song for us to listen to, or binge on all week--if binging is your thing.;) I tend to fall in love with a song and replay it 27 billion times, so it's definitely my thing. It annoys my kids but heals my heart! Music so speaks to my heart! I will also share a verse for us to think on and mediate on for the week, and a favorite quote that goes with the verse. Reading quotes from authors and witnessing their process has so brought healing to my life too. I hope it helps you too!
I will always have links to the songs on iTunes and Youtube in the show notes. And the verse and quote we can all meditate on and pray through. I think it's a fun way to keep focused on what's most important... keeping our hearts living in grace and eyes focused our healer.
This week's inspiration:
Goodness of God by Cece Winans on YouTube
Goodness of God by Cece Winans on iTunes
Habakkuk 2:2-3
NIV version- Then the LORD replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
MESSAGE version- And then God answered: “Write this.
Write what you see.
Write it out in big block letters
so that it can be read on the run.
This vision-message is a witness
pointing to what’s coming.
It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait!
And it doesn’t lie.
If it seems slow in coming, wait.
It’s on its way. It will come right on time.
Quote:
“your desire is your prayer. Picture the fulfillment of your desire now and feel its reality and you will experience the joy of an answered prayer.” Dr. Joesph Murphy.
Enjoy the episode!
Much love,
Dani
